Hand-picked, hired, coached, and empowered a team of 20 seasoned industry consultants to lead the executive conversation with our C-Suite clients for AT&T Signature Client Group. Built metrics and KPI’s to improve funnel development, lead conversion and customer acquisition. Exceeded the module quota and achieved excellent talent retention.

GAME CHANGING INNOVATION FOR AT&T FINANCIAL VERTICAL

Developed the business case for Bank Branch of the Future utilizing AT&T Flexware (SD-WAN/vCPE/NFV platform). Successfully rolling the solution with multiple BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) customers. Developed the business case for Mobile Communication Compliance platform in production.

GLOBAL HEAD OF NETWORK SERVICES (thomson reuters) SEP 1999 – APR 2011

Built and led the network organization (100+ FTE) for the firm with accountability for the overall network budget of over $600m. Architected, built, and rolled out Thomson Reuters global MPLS backbone, Global private CDN infrastructure, Several user campuses (3000+ users per campus) LAN/WiFi/Video/IP Telephony) and Next Gen T2+ data center.

TRANSFORMATION TO IMPROVE THE BOTTOM LINE FOR THOMSON REUTERS

Saved over U$20M/Year while improving service agility, availability, automation, and scale by transforming the Thomson Reuters global backbone network into an IaaS service. I ran the transformation for the network life-cycle including idealizing, selling to CxO, architecting, building, and operating. Built a standardized service catalogue infrastructure which was ready for automation. Deployed regional DWDM rings, Inter-regional LAG nx10G links for a dual-core MPLS network with 20,000+ connection to offices, datacenters, client locations and B2B.

RUNNING INFRASTRUCTURE AS A BUSINESS AT THOMSON REUTERS

Achieved 50% cost reduction while quadrupling the outbound capacity to over 160Gbps. Changing the financial model for Internet content delivery for Thomson Reuters by building a private CDN in 12 global PNAP’s directly peering with multiple retail ISP’s in-region. Defined KPI’s that enforce the network service SLA and a clear model for BU usage-based charge back.
