Director Global Projects and Asset Management– Atlanta, GA (2016 – Present)

Head of all Capital Expenditures and Asset Management for AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemical Division. This is direct over site for 30 chemical plants in 12 countries. Manage all green and brownfield construction projects. Provide oversight for the Asset Management program and am on the Corporate Global Asset Team for all of AkzoNobel/Nouryon. Responsible for Asset life-cycle management including preventive maintenance and reliability programs. Provide oversight for the deployment of the programs throughout Pulp and Performance. Manage a global team of Engineers and Technical staff.

Cameron LNG

Director of IT – Houston, TX (2014 – 2016)

Lead all IT activities associated with the acquisition of Sempra operational assets as well as manage the establishment of the entire Cameron LNG network and systems. Completed an SAP ERP implementation in 8 months. Stood up entire Cameron LNG IT Environment, including Plant Data Historian in 10 months. Drafted all budgeting and staffing plans. Oversee entire IT operational build out for a 10 billion-dollar LNG project. Work with all Operations, Finance and Commercial leadership to develop long range systems deployment and support models. Actively involved in plant controls system design and deployment planning. Manage facilities for the Cameron LNG Corporate Offices.

Cobalt International Energy

Chief Information Officer – Houston, TX (2012-2014)

Responsible for all IS/IT of the company. Established roadmap and strategy with primary focus of having a cloud based IT environment including infrastructure, which is now recognized in industry as best in class. Managed cloud based ERP implementation, which is accessed globally. Established the company’s network and data security model that is considered best in class by security auditing teams. Upstream HQ and Global Solutions IT Manager – Houston, TX (2011- 2012)

Direct oversight of all application development and assessment for ConocoPhillips Upstream. Manage entire Upstream HQ and Global Solutions IT staff. Support International Construction and New Ventures. Provide electronic security policy and guidance for activities in sensitive areas globally. Lead large team of highly skilled subsurface and drilling applications specialist. Lead strategy review for all new capital IT spend in Upstream.

Regional Information Systems Manager – Russia/Caspian, Middle East, North Africa (2006 to 2011)

Doha, Qatar ConocoPhillips

Manage all IS/IT operations in a Region stretching from the Pacific to Atlantic, Arctic to the Sahara Desert. Lead IS activities in major asset acquisitions and divestitures. Coordinate all IS/IT initiatives associated with operational and engineering excellence in Asia Pacific businesses including leading design teams for developing and implementing new technologies. Direct the set up and staffing of major multiple joint venture companies in the region. Manage a multicultural staff consisting of over 14 nationalities. Director of Capital Projects Infrastructure Services (2004 – 2006) ConocoPhillips

Directed a global team of applications and infrastructure specialist providing a turn-key service for IS operations on all Upstream and Downstream Capital Projects. During this time, I became the Project Controls Manager for the Saudi Yanbu Refining Project. Lead BU and IT project teams in Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe, Russia and the Americas. Lead all IT design and delivery on 3 vessels built at the Samsung ship yards in Koje Korea. Provided Engineering design review and implementation of process control systems. Coordinated project applications development as well as knowledge sharing between projects globally. Lead efforts on implementation of several ERP and technical computing systems. Actively managed major offices build outs globally including places such as Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Korea, Cameroon and others.

Asia Pacific Information Systems Projects Manager – (2003-2004) ConocoPhillips

Manager over all IS/IT project teams in Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, Australia and China. IS Manager on the Darwin LNG, Bohai Bay II and Su Tu Den FPSO projects. Lead efforts with Honeywell on process controls system design and engineering. Delivery of engineering standards/specs for T-Com and plant system Interface which included offshore platforms, large land based plants and marine mooring. Implemented the project controls cost, planning, and document control systems as well as project reporting. Managed delivery of SAP ERP builds from the Project to the business including all PM, MM and Finance/Accounting module rollouts.

Information Management Country Manager – Vietnam/South East Asia – (2001 – 2003) ConocoPhillips

Supervised IM operations in Vietnam/Cambodia/Korea. Oversaw Cuulong plant systems design Coordinated IT issues at 5 different work sites within Vietnam. Managed project controls and reporting systems for the international project office sites. Lead team to design and implement web-based costs, planning and data document control. Lead build out of E&P technical computing. Established multiple country IT infrastructures. Managed the hiring of staff and build out of the Cuulong Joint Venture IT organization.

Syria T-Com Construction Manager and Country Information Management Manager – Damascus, Syria (2000 – 2001) ConocoPhillips

Syria Country IM Manager. Construction manager for T-Com engineering group on gas plant project. Lead implementation of all project controls infrastructure. Managed the entire ground-up IS/IT implementation for both the Syria Business Unit and the Dez Gas Joint Venture Company in Syria. Worked with Syrian government security agencies for import and communications licenses. Worked directly with US State, Defense and Commerce departments to obtain export clearances and licenses for sanctioned technologies. Coordinated large fiber optic network installation in conjunction with pipeline construction.

Environmental Engineer and Downstream Data Management Coordinator – Denver, Colorado (1997 – 2000) ConocoPhillips

Developed/designed a web-based compliance system that linked all Refining and Transportation process and reporting systems. Developed automated emissions inventory system. Lead an effort with PI administrators to develop automated environmental compliance system for Refining. Worked with various State and Federal regulators to build electronic system that helped meet reporting needs. Engineering support for permitting and reporting

Environmental Engineer - Lake Charles Refinery, Louisiana (1995 – 1997) ConocoPhillips

Programmed multiple PI/DCS interface reporting systems. Worked on Engineering design team for refinery water treatment expansion. Developed an automated process Engineering environmental reporting program. Designed program logic for DCS to implement environmental monitoring of various process units as well as optimize unit production efficiency. Had heavy interaction with state and federal regulators.
