Major-project: “Pedal crank wheat and paddy threshing machine” The major problems on conventional threshers have been identified as bulky weight, poor machine performance, human accidents and high fuel consumption rate. Therefore, the present project has been planned for improvements in the prevalent design of present threshers to avoid fuel usage, use mechanisms, and human input to develop a thresher which is simple in design, durable, easy to use, accident free and cost effective.

Minor-Project: “Design and fabrication of Winnowing and Sieving Machine” The various traditional post harvesting methods like winnowing and sieving utilized for cleaning the food grains are insufficient in cleaning the impurities and also these process are more labour and time consuming. To tackle this problem there is a need of an automated winnowing and sieving machine that can help in performing processes so that there is reduction in human effort, time, increased efficiency and quality of cleaning.

Mini-project: “Mechanical weed/grass cutter”

By using bevel gear mechanism this design helps to cut weed/grass. Engineering Design project: “Cylinder Weight Indicator” A simple design which indicates weight of the cylinder. Extra-Curricular Activities and Achievements:

Won the second prize in CONSTRUCTOPEDIA.

Participated in CAED MASTER.
