An industrial internship done on “Production of Biodiesel from Crude Palm Oil sourced from local farmers” project at Udupi District Bioenergy Research, Information & Demonstration Centre. NMAM Institute of technology, Nitte, Karkala. Projects

1) “ Production of Bioethanol from waste Arecanut husk” 2) “Production of Bioethanol from Cocoa pod and performance characteristics study on single cylinder SI engine”

In this project experiments were conducted on a Greaves single cylinder, air cooled, naturally aspirated 1.5 kW at 1200 rpm. Bio-ethanol blends and petrol were the fuels considered in experimentation.
