Attended the Pre-Bid Meetings, Site Inspection, Clarificatory Meetings, Negotiations, Reconciliations and other paper-related works given by the company, client and sub-contractors.

Estimated complete plans given by the client to the company which include the estimation of quantities provided the plans and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and costing of material and labor of the item given in the BOQ

Duties and Responsibility:

I was in charge with the financial and contractual aspects of the project. Participated, recorded and prepared the minutes of the progress meetings. Convened and chaired some commercial meetings. I provided support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the work in the project. Ensured prompt submittal and completeness of Contractors monthly payment applications and finalize the payment certificates with the assistance of the Quantity Surveyors. Made sure that all cost and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order. Advised and instructed site engineers, QA/QC team on measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities. Evaluated the unit rates for new work items with assistance by the Quantity Surveyors. Established the way of recording the details and monitor the day works recording and process; Lead in the preparation of variation orders. Lead in the evaluation and recommendation of entitlement of Contractors claims, including presentation and agreement of recommendations to the Engineer. Advised on contractual matters related to financial issues. Ensured completeness and validity of all contractual requirements. I prepared financial statements for monthly report. Checked and recorded measurements of completed work. Monitored contracts final cost estimates. Coordinated and monitored activities of the Commercial team. Prepared Final Account with all supporting documentation.
