-Responsible of managing the entire facility during hours of operation.
-Incharge of leading the crew of 20 people during a shift and managing each station to ensure smooth operations.
-Responsible for training and orientation of new employees in the facility.
-Authority to delegate and assign tasks to other workers as per required situation.
-Report directly to senior managers weekly regarding the progress of the facility operations.
Intern – ADPICO Industries – Dubai, UAE June 2017 - August 2017
-Lead Kaizen event to increase production lines efficiency and API lines by 25% resulting in cost saving of $60,000.
-Used lean six sigma methodology for making improvements on production process to meet the customer demands in timely manner.
-Design ergonomics/fixtures for fast changeover of produced products and also fixtures to hold heavy pipes.
-Developed Visuals add-on on a production line to notify QA/Supervisor for any issues.
Intern – Hollandia Solar System. Dubai, UAE June 2016 –August 2016
-Assisted in assembling the manufactured parts from the assembly of a solar panel system for a household use.
-Assisted in designing solar panels on Auto CAD software and install on construction site.
-Assessed panels and conducted surveys on customer requirements and made Gantt charts.
-Conducted quality testing on the equipment to verify design standards were met.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Senior Capstone Design - Windsor Windows. Des Moines, Iowa January 2019 – May 2019
-Designing a semi-automated Roll screen mechanism for outdoor glass windows with emphasis on retraction.
-Created a mathematical model and in process to conduct FEA to ensure all performance metrics are obtained.
-Conducted DFMEA study to identify failure modes and select the lead concept.
-Working on to generate a risk management plan to reduce any safety issues for operators.
OTHER PROJECTS
-ME 170: Reversed engineered a coffee maker and conducted design verification on SolidWorks.
-ME 270: Design, manufactured, and assembled a Vegetable peeler along with quality testing of the device.
