In response to your posting for a part-time Senior Editor position, my curriculum vitae follows. I think my background and experience might potentially suit the described position.

I am a recently retired English teacher with a master’s degree in English literature, two published full-length poetry collections, and many published poems and reviews in a variety of literary magazines (including The Antigonish Review, Carousel, The Dalhousie Review, The Prairie Journal of Literature, and the Saranac Review). I have had administrative experience both as an acting department head of English and teacher-librarian. Prior to teaching, I worked as a writer/editor for Health Canada.

Teaching English full-time at Hillcrest High School (Grades 9 to 12). I held the position of Acting Head of English in the second semester of 2013 after the retirement of the department’s longstanding head. Additionally, I have taught Social Science and History at Hillcrest in recent years and have also served in the past year as a teacher-librarian.
