AMCO Proteins: R&D Intern Spring 2019
● Under the supervision of a Research and Development Engineer completed the following tasks: o Prepared and tested various protein product samples to be tested for their degree of hydrolysis.
o Ran a downscaled batch reaction in order to determine the final properties of the product, such as consistency, taste, smell, etc. Analyzed and organized experimental data. o Conducted collection of final product for shipment to a customer through a spray drying process.
NJIT: Research Assistant Summer 2017
Decontamination of Passaic River Sediments using Ultrasound with Ozone Nanobubbles
● Worked alongside two graduate students in researching contaminants within sediments in the Passaic River in an attempt to decontaminate the aforementioned samples. o Prepared various soil samples through different sieving methods. As well as purposeful contamination with p-Terphenyl.
o Utilized an ozone nano-bubble generator in order to infuse samples with the ozone nanobubbles to determine how long oxygen would remain present in this form. SKILLS
