Maintaining Reheating Billet furnace (preheating, heating, soaking zone temperature, oxygen carbon die oxide % check, also checking ton of billet pass through furnace and average oil/gas used per hour), know about burners, charging bed, hydraulic push, ejectors functions, measure calorific value of furnace/ kerosite oil, also known about Bloom furnace.

Partially works in Production Dept. (Mill section) (know about stands-roughing stand, milling stand etc./ rollers and its rotation, rotary share cut, pinch roll, metal quenching, cooling bed functions).
