• Collected rock cutting samples from the shale shakers on the rig regularly.
• Analyzed and tested rock cuttings from drilling and logged the lithology, pictures, and description.
• Reviewed all gas and drilling parameters for indications of kicks, loss of circulation, and problems with the equipment.
• Setup and maintained equipment and programs needed to perform work accurately and fully.
• Contact the driller, company man, or drill site manager as needed to insure that drilling ran smoothly and safely.
