Titled: Seismic Design of RC Multi-Storeyed Residential Building This project involved complete designing of Eight storey RC Residential Building using STAAD Pro V8i and ETABS Software. Building chosen is located in Thrissur, Kerala and environemntal propoerties were chosen accordingly. The modelling and analysis of the structure was done by using STAAD. Pro V8i, and the designing was done manually. The detailing was done using AUTOCAD 2016. The guidelines of IS-1893-2016 and IS-13920-2016 for Design of Earthquake resistant structures were followed in making this project.
Final year summer Internship successfully completed with Haryana Urban Development Authority project for a School Building. It was a very good learning experience on a live project where I was involved in following activities:
• Gained experience in blueprint reading of building plans, layout and sections of structural and architectural elements.
• Involved in testing of concrete & soil .Analyzed test data with theoretical knowledge achieved during engineering.
• Assisted Site civil engineer in preparing bill of materials, test reports, project documentations.
• Assisted site engineers in Surveying and analyzed data collected.
• Understanding implementation of various Indian standards on site .
• Rank holder scholarship from Jamia Millia Islamia University during Civil engineering course duration.
• IDB Scholarship for high Academic performance.
• Lead School Cricket team as a Captain.
