Hello,
My name is Chuck Danyo and I am a Video Producer. I currently work at Fox 47 in Lansing, Michigan where I produce commercials for all digital formats. Since being hired at Fox 47, I was given the opportunity to produce a weekly sports talk show. The show is called, “Press Pass with Jack Ebling”, and I also am the director of the show. This opportunity has helped me fine tune my skills on a NewTek TriCaster. My passion for filmmaking came roughly 10 years ago when I was a young teenager and began filming snowboard videos on a handheld camcorder. This introduced me to creative camera angles and, most importantly, editing software. I carried this passion into college where I graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts. Throughout my experience at CMU, I took many classes to hone my video skills. These classes introduced me to live on-air production, screenwriting, and even acting. I was even selected to take part in a class designed for the top broadcasting students. In this class, we operated as a film crew to produce a short film titled Analogous. I have two major accomplishments from college, writing a feature length screenplay and producing a music video. Producing a video from start to finish is the greatest feeling in the world in my opinion. Interning with Fox Sports Detroit and the Kalamazoo Wings gave me the most experience a college student could possibly get. With Fox Sports, I observed the production assistants edit Pre and Post Game shows live on the air. I also attended many Red Wing, Piston, and Tiger games where I shadowed camera operators, audio technicians, engineers, and producers. My other internship allowed me to perform all duties of a live in-house sporting event. This allowed me hands on experience with an actual camera. This role came simple to me due to the excellent classes I took throughout my college career.
I now work in the field as a producer and director. My day can consist of on-site shoots with clients, in-studio shoots on the green screen, or editing many spots for all digital formats. My goal is obtain a similar role within a larger market.

I look forward to hearing from you,
