The business area will have the ability via on-line screens to define the target population and to control the scheduling of the Rate Action jobs. Once Business defines and schedules the Rate Action, the fulfillment file generation tasks will be performed systematically.

Project 3 : OH HB 201A – Reduce Dependent Age

This Project was to introduce to reduce the dependent coverage age from 28 to 26, Three new fields are added to letter to send to the vendor .A letter is to be sent as notification to the subscriber indicating his cancellation as dependent if he turns 26 within the next 45 days.

Project 4 : ISG Employer access transaction

Introduced a new field in the online screen and based on the value of the new field, it will decide whether the Termination/Cancellation Date should be populated as First of next month or the current cancellation/termination event date plus 1. I.e. if the new field is Y and we have requested to cancel the date on Jan 15th then the cancellation Date should be populated/auto saved in the DB as 1st Feb. If the new field is N and we have requested to cancel the date on Jan 15th then the cancellation Date should be populated/auto saved in the DB as current date+ 1(Jan 15th + 1). For all the groups created initially doesn’t have value for the new indicator, so implemented a one-time update program to update the value as Y or N for all the existing entity in the Dbs.
One time update programs have been introduced to update all the DB with the new value for the existing Small group entities of the 14 States CA, CT, CO, NY, KY, NV, NA, ME, MO, NH, OH, VA, WI and IN.
