Responsibilities:

Operation and maintenance of 110 KV / 11 KV Switch yard with Associated Equipments like 110 KV off Load Isolator

Operation and maintenance of main panel ( MV Pannel) & HT and LT switch gears.(VCB & ACB) and 160KVA Diesel Generator sets (1no’s),UPS 3Kva Battery Charger

Operation and maintenance of AC motors and all types of starter.

Operation and maintenance of 11kV electrical distribution systems, high voltage underground cable, and high voltage switchgear and 11kV/415V electrical distribution facilities, associated relay panels.

Operation and routine preventive/corrective maintenance, regular inspection on live line & Street Light Maintenance, overhaul and breakdown repair of Field Area and 11kV and 415V feeders, HV cables, step-down transformers, Reactors, Capacitor Banks and all associated high voltage indoor and outdoor equipment.

Carry out faultfinding and repair on high voltage and Switchgears, and Circuit Breakers etc.

Familiar with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of Batteries, AC/DC UPS.

Familiar with Electrical switching and isolation procedure

Capable to identifying Live and Dead equipment status

Experience with Maintenance of Street Light system and Earthlings and Lighting system maintenance.

Shift Responsibility:

Monitor all parameters, breaker status, alarm list in PMS and continuous observation of any discrepancies in the events list display.

Ensures that System frequency, voltage and power factor are accurately monitored and maintained at the operational levels within the electrical distribution system.

Ensures accurate recording of 11kV distribution loads/activities.

To take up Energy management program for reducing equipment down time and cost.

To assist the manager in Technical reporting and planning of spares list.

To ensure the preventive maintenance schedules and carried out do audit checking.

Responsible for electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs.

Handle all activities of Operation & Good record as shift in charge.

Responsible for maintaining the checklists and relevant documents as per ISO

Standards.

Analysis of electrical consumption & consumed demand.

Daily maintain the power consumption report.

Weekly preparing the Formats of Preventive Maintenance.

Activity Knowledge:

Understanding Electrical precaution, safe working practices and applies rules for isolation and de-isolation of equipment.

Knowledge and understanding of power system (Generation, transmission and Distribution)

Able to read technical drawings, single line diagrams.

Knowledge of Water treatment plant and Sewage water treatment plant.

Supervise the team in terms of work allocation, job completion, spares planning, safety and quality work.

Encourage by example the development of two-way communication system, team work and quality awareness

Preparation of detailed main single line schematic in AutoCAD.

HT, LT cable sizing, Voltage drop calculations, Cable Schedule, Cable tray sizing and routine layout.

Preparations of Sectional drawings of HT/LT M.V Panel and bus bar sizing.

Design of earthing and lightning protection system.

Design of distribution system, cable trenches and other parts of electrical system.
