Prepares examination room making clean before and after examination. 8. Reports to the Section Head any abnormalities noted in the machine. 9. Operate department of imaging sciences equipment completely. 10. Instruct clients on what to do before and after the examination and how and when to get the result.
11. Performs Special Procedures such as IVP, SBS, BE, UGIS, VCUG and others. 12. Check the machine and films before and after the shift. 13. Write in endorsement log book end after shift. 14. Assesses and encode charges of in-patients and out-patients. 15. Checks with operating room if there are Special Procedures to be done on the following day.
16. Check with each designated station if the mobile x-ray is charge. 17. Attends meetings, seminars and trainings.
18. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Detailed Role Description:
1. Perform diagnostic procedures for all patients as requested and ensure availability of images with required information in the Picture Archiving and Communication System
(PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) immediately after completing the procedure according to the departmental protocols and standards. 2. Review and comply with hospital and departmental policies and protocols. 3. Participate in the implementation of the departmental strategic plan. 4. Coordinate care and safety of patients during routine Radiological procedures. 5. Ensure communication with patients and staff is meaningful and professional. 6. Maintain patient confidentiality, rights and privacy at all times. 7. Handle equipment and related accessories safely and responsibly. 8. Cover the department during the working shifts/on call as scheduled and during emergencies or disaster as requested.
9. Follow established Radiation Protection measures for themselves, patients, other staff and population in general.
10. Set up and operate equipment to perform diagnostic examinations/procedures according to departmental protocols and report all equipment faults and errors to the shift leader. 11. Ensure scheduled work is completed before signing out. 12. Select the proper equipment, accessories and techniques to obtain the highest image quality.
13. Fully inform the patients and/or relatives as to the nature of the examination to be performed.
14. Ensure correct patient identification and site verification checks are undertaken for each examination.
15. Ensure all applicable licenses and/or trainings are maintained, including Basic Life Support certification.
16. Follow established International Patient Safety goals. 17. Assist, supervise and train the Radiology students, Radiology Technician and New staff to perform all types of duties assigned.
18. Perform other job-related duties as required.
