Mechanical measuring instruments and gauges like callipers, vernier callipers, micrometers (screw gauge), ring gauges, snap gauges, plug gauges, vernier and digital height gauges and etc, all these instruments are kept in an air conditioner room for 30min to soak (according to NABL procedures). Using the master gauges and instruments for the comparison between the DUC (Device Under Calibration) and Master Gauge are noted and calculated with the recommended formulas by NABL procedure.
Roles and Responsibilities.
Soaking the given instruments for 25 to 30min.
Calibrating the instruments using standard instruments.
Preparing the certificate if the values are meeting with given NABL tolerances. Project 2:

VTD Vera 1500 is a large mirror coating machine in which polished glass ranging from Ø50mm to Ø1300mm are loaded to be coated to achieve 100% reflection (theoretically) by coating 6 to 7 layers of given coating materials (Coating Duration 45 to 50min).Before loading the actual component, 2 or 3 trials has to taken to verify if the specifications of the particular mirror’s wavelength and reflection percentage are meeting the given values by conducting spectroscopic studies after coating. Cleaning the polished pre-coated mirrors with the recommended solutions.
Getting clearance papers signed for the cleaned mirror after inspection.
Loading the required coating materials.
Loading the pre-coated mirrors in the coating chamber.
