In lead / senior process engineer positions, handled projects for clients like Imperial Oil, CNRL, Husky, Shell, Spectra Energy, Petro-Canada, MEG Energy, Nexen, Devon Canada, ExxonMobil, Enbridge and Suncor Energy. Prepared project proposals, identified scopes, tracked project progress, managed man hours, supervised engineers, initiated management of change, recorded project variances, reviewed material requisitions and evaluated technical bids. As head of a department evaluated new project proposals, estimated costing, defined and verified scopes and executed preliminary process engineering work for PET plant. Successfully managed construction, commissioning and production of the plant. Responsible for production optimization, plant start-up, turnaround jobs, PSM (Process Safety Management) activities, incident Investigation, root cause analysis and troubleshooting. Handled operations of reactors, distillation columns, heat exchangers, heaters, pressure vessels, filters, tanks, pumps, compressors, ejectors etc. in batch and continuous process plants. Bantrel is one of Canada’s most respected engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies.

As a lead, produced various process deliverables like PFDs, P&IDs, line list, tie-in list, operating and control philosophy for Enbridge Pipeline FEED and Detail Engineering Project for line 67 upgrade at Hardisty terminal. Other responsibilities included the tracking the progress of project, supervising and checking the work done by junior engineers and interacting with other disciplines to review squad check documents.
