Responsible for driving the Agile transformation within the Asia Pacific region. In this role, Leo was able to visibly strengthen the region’s Agile fluency. He saved the company
$300,000 USD in training costs by co-authoring and delivering internal Agile (Scrum & Kanban) trainings throughout the region (specifically in Manila, Singapore, Indonesia & Australia). He also established coaching frameworks and maturity models to streamline and sustain the transformation within the region. Part of his role is coaching Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and managers.
As a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant, Leo acted as a change agent in the overall organizational adoption and transformation. In this capacity, he was able to launch multiple Agile Release Trains & coach the ART to allow them to deliver continuous value in the shortest sustainable lead time. He continuously mentors Release Train Engineers & Scrum Masters throughout the execution of the Program Increment. He continues to guide Product Management in managing the Program Kanban and ensures that the flow of value is following the economic framework. He also coaches the ART during the Program Increment Planning and Inspect and Adapt workshop.
He was able to deliver 200+ trainings in Manila, Singapore & Indonesia combined. As an SPC he was able to train & certify 60 SAFe Practitioners, 30 SAFe Agilists, 25 SAFe Product Owners/Product Managers & 25 SAFe Scrum Masters.

Leo managed the delivery of critical and high-value business solutions for Chevron’s downstream manufacturing organization, including projects, consulting, and operational support for Chevron’s business critical applications. He led a local team of IT professionals to provide IT consulting, development, and support using Scrum as the primary mode of delivering value to the business. In this role Leo was able to start the Agile journey of the downstream business by piloting the first Scrum & DevOps team in the organization. He effectively transitioned his role into a Product Owner. He was also integral in adopting the DevOps culture and operationalized the continuous exploration, continuous integration, continuous testing and continuous delivery pipeline. He also acted as a Project Manager and established a Robotics Process Automation factory line that delivers RPA solutions to the downstream business using UI Path and Scrum as the delivery method. He also led the testing automation project that moved all of the existing manual testing to Selenium thereby effectively integrating this as part of the DevOps CI/CD pipeline. Leo led a group of IT professional that supported the IT assets (hardware and software) of the Chevron Retail business in North America. He leveraged Lean processes to optimize the operations and deliver cost efficiencies for the retail organization. Leo was also a major contributor on a self-funded project that delivered $3 million USD annual savings to the organization by optimizing operations using Lean tools and by migrating software development work to Manila.
