WORK EXPERIENCE:
I have three years of experience in IPR research field. I worked in Promax Legal Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Chandigarh for two years as a Research Analyst, building my initial carrier and gaining insights and experience of various kinds of IPR search projects, initially being a team member and then individually. Later on, for growth of my professional self and to pursue my learning perspectives, I joined Interactive IP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Research Analyst, where I managed various projects and supervised a team of six to eight people.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducting patent & non-patent literature searches including prior art, freedom to
operate/Product Clearance Searches, Invalidity/Validity Searches, State of Art and
Patentability/Novelty Searches.
Creating initial understanding of the invention, creating search strategies, executing search strategies.
Performing File wrapper analysis for studying Applicant Arguments Study, Office actions, latest modified Claims, National stage filling (371c date filing) status, Patent term adjustment etc.
Conducting Infringement searches (quick as well as detailed) and preparing Evidences of use charts (EOU’s)/claim chart.
Performing Patent Portfolio Analysis & Competitive Intelligence Analysis.
Performing Patent Portfolio Classification/Mining based on infringement analysis and ranking the patents according to their probability of infringement.
Performing detailed investigations to determine mappings of patent claims to corresponding products/ solutions such as through reverse-engineering, product utilization, and/ or documentation review
Performing Landscape and whitespace analysis for strategic research planning and technology transfer, freedom to operate issues, identify white space or gaps in technology and to identify in-licensing or out-licensing opportunities
Providing insightful analysis of search results from various sources by preparing and delivering timely, value-added patent search reports based on in-house established patent search protocols.
