PROJECT DETAILS:

TOPIC: Effect of base isolation in elevated water tank.

In this project an elevated water tank is analyzed for this seismic actions and a base isolator is designed for its response spectrum and comparing the results with that of similar tank of fixed base using ETABS (2013) software.

TOPIC: Retrofitting of beams using GFRP laminates.

Project is about strengthing of beams using GFRP laminates. Taking one beam as conventional and other two as retrofitted beam the experiment is done with single point loading and parameters such as deflection,loading carrying capacity and percentage of increase in load carrying are compared between beams. GFRP for two beams are wrapped in U shape and strips manner.
