PRACTICUM SUMMARY
Under the supervision and guidance of qualified preceptors, my recent practicum experiences comprised of clinical fieldwork focused on assessment of acute diseases, recognition of exacerbations of chronic conditions, and management and maintenance of patients across the lifespan. Furthermore, it included the evaluation and management of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including addressing women’s health issues. With advancement of the program, I gained further confidence with integrating facets of comprehensive assessments into routine office visits, and utilization of current clinical guidelines when planning care.
