Upon making the decision to seek out an opportunity to expand my leadership experience and skill, I immediately knew I wanted to return to the community hospital setting. The experience I have gained working in a large, high volume medical center has uniquely prepared me for common issues found in every hospital.

As an experienced Certified Obstetrical Nurse, Assistant Department Administrator, and Staff Educator, I know I can offer a comprehensive but unique approach to leading all units within the Maternal Child Health department. Through inpatient nursing, I have had the opportunity to view this profession from different perspectives. Most recently as an educator I have enjoyed the opportunity to research, develop and roll out education to the staff on the CMQCC guidelines for Labor Support as well as Managing Hemorrhage. I have developed OB Hemorrhage whiteboards that will soon be installed in each labor and deliver operating room to assist in standardizing communication throughout a hemorrhage thereby improving patient outcomes. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work within several interdisciplinary teams to coordinate difficult and complicated surgical cases that were performed in the main operating room.

If selected to join your team, I would bring the same level of commitment and innovative problem solving to all issues identified, allowing our patients, staff, and the business to thrive. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to meeting with you to further discuss the position as well as how I might be an asset to your department.

Sincerely,

To whom it may concern:
