Detailed job Description

1. At the start of the day..

a. Turns on the aircon in the X-ray, Mammogram and Ct Scan room and log temperature in the temperature monitoring log sheet.

b. Warm up all the machines

c. Opens the PC of the radiologist in the reading room d. Prepares new set of patients’ gown.

2. Responsible in...

a. Verifying patients’ identity, examination, and clinical info before performing the procedure. b. Producing high quality images according to set standards. c. Printing the right barcode to affix to patients’ envelope. d. Ensuring that the patients’ result are correctly encoded and inserted to its corresponding envelope prior to release to releasing section.

e. Daily maintenance of all the machines

3. Performed variety of technical tasks involved in operating X-ray, Mammogram, and Ct Scan equipments.

4. Clearly explain the procedure; position patients for each anatomical view specified immobilization and protective devices as required.

5. Works together with imaging department head and Branch supervisor in achieving goal. 6. Maintain..

a. Equipments clean in good working condition.

b. Good housekeeping.

7. Reports any equipment malfunction to Admin Support and to Imaging Department Head. 8. Reminds imaging head concerning schedule of repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance of machines/ equipments.

9. Coordinates with Radio-Sonologist regarding result that needed to be prioritized to be able to release the result on time.
