About Me

I have basic knowledge of computers. I have 25 years’ experience working in a professional office environment on a computer. I started in the production department where I was certified in 4 of our production departments such as making breathing bags, running machines in mold room and hose room and then putting it all together in Circuits departs as well as re-boxing the final product after inspections. I then was promoted to Quality Control where I perform inspections on the finished product before it sent to our customer. I check for misassembled circuits, defects, and but not limited missing components. Once the package has passed the inspection. I also perform various Quality in-process checks in the other departments to ensure parts were made in spec before reaching the final department. I used calibrated and not calibrated tools and instruments as well as AQL for air testing.

I prepped each apartment by taking off all light plates and outlet covers, filled all holes including nail holes or other by using drywall and sanded, filled any and all cracks with caulk, and any other required prepping the apartment required. We then covered all floors with tarps and used a sprayer, roller, and brush to paint all walls, ceilings, and trim. I also was called to just repair any walls or ceilings by fixing as a drywall repair or replacing the entire area as well as removing mold, not limited to texture ceiling and painting the fixed area after. I also prepped and glazed bathtubs, kitchen and bathroom counters. Also, when when one tenant moves out I assessed the apartment and fixed everything and replace anything that was needed, dishwashers, garbage disposals, light bulbs, lights, switches, doors, handles and much more.

I was in charge of cleaning the required properties but not limited to banks, doctor offices and warehouses. Cleaning included vacuuming, dusting, taking trash, sanitizing, cleaning bathroom, office dishes, sweeping, mapping and any other specifics the site required. The then was promoted where I was in charge of over 20 employees and over 80 Sites and could 15-30 a night, I took cleaning supplies when needed to site for employees, I covered the cleaning when employee called in, I went around sites ensure the quality was up to standard for required site. Called each dealership negotiating a freight load between buyers and sellers of transferring of new car inventory. Once the vehicles in a load were negotiated, I then called around to several freight companies negotiating the price of cost to move load as well negotiating my company fees for setting the transfer. I also had 2 employees working under my directive who would cold call looking for buying and selling dealership and I would call and negotiate everything to close the deal as well as my own cold calling.

I started answering phones on a 15-line switchboard and sending them directly to the agent as well as taking messages. After 3 months I was promoted to purchasing agent. I mainly worked on the MARSS contract for the army, Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System. I oversaw 15 aircraft in 8 sites here in the states and overseas. I purchased aircraft, navigation systems, GSE, tools, office equipment, anything to maintain the aircraft and the site. I had to get 3 bids and purchase the cheapest or most accurate. Most items were shipped to the site in state side but if overseas then shipped to our warehouse where I oversaw checking to make sure it was correct its quality and check for damage. I also checked the paperwork, making sure it was all correct and forwarded it to the warehouse for packing and overseas shipping requirements.

I started as a phone operator on a 16 line board. I got promoted and started calls on an auto dialer for customer service incoming calls. I also used auto dialer and manual calls with accounts 4-29 and 30-59 days past due for auto loans. I was one of the top collectors and was promoted to Team Lead for 60-89 days past due accounts. At this point I also had to skip trace to find the debtor and decide if further action would be taken such as repossession if payment wasn’t made upon contact. I provided short motivational meetings and helped my coworkers collect payment or payment arrangements on the hard accounts. I was able to hit almost every goal therefore obtaining daily, weekly and monthly bonus for myself and my team of 10.
