Objective: To Pursue a career in Electrical Engineering, I want to contribute to a team in the Electrical Engineering industry where I can add value and use my understanding of electrical engineering from UMass Dartmouth & previous jobs to serve the Massachusetts community.

Highlights: Working with a team is one of my genuine specialties. I'm able to either take charge of a situation if the team needs a leader, or I can be there to support my teammates to get the task completed as efficiently and effectively as possible. This is tied in with the fact that I can keep my cool under pressure as most of the labs proved to be incredibly challenging, but I was able to persevere and complete the projects and labs.

One of my main skills as an Electrical Engineer is the ability to work with AC power on various circuits. For instance, I learned that harmonics of an AC power source create challenges. Some of these challenges are also present in DC systems where inversion (DC to AC conversion) is required. The Efficiency of DC to AC inversion is limited. These losses can cost a company a lot of money, and I have the understanding to serve in this arena.

More specifically, I have the ability to understand AC and DC, as well as how to convert between the two. From AC to DC, you would use a full bridge rectifier circuit, and to go from DC to AC, you would use an inverter. Using an inverter is especially important when working with solar panels since they require the conversion from DC power (which is what it generates) to AC power (the power that most if not everyone uses).

One of my many skills involves designing and constructing electronic circuits, this would include being able to construct common-emitter amplifiers, common source amplifiers, as well as a common emitter amplifier with a passive load or an active load.

I can also operate the full suite of electronic test equipment and multimeters and test various circuits and record the results.

Experience:

Ultra Maritime, Braintree, MA 2024 Production Test Technician:

Compliant with all timekeeping, safety, and Electric Static Discharge (ESD) Certified, material handling and made sure all test equipment being used was calibrated.

Made sure all quality and efficiency standards of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-741.5(a) and ISO 9001:2015 were upheld.

Ensured that all materials brought in from the supplier was tested to ensure that each product met up to the standards of Ultra Maritime.
