Work with the Health Care Director, develop internal quality control measures and standard operating procedures in all aspects of dental instrumentation sterilization and dispensing processes.
Demonstrate, instruct, train and advise clinical personnel on policies, guidelines and work processes as applied to sterilization processing, infection control and dispensing dental instrumentation, materials and equipment.
Conduct dispensary audits along with clinical manager prepares and submit audits reports of findings.
Perform audits of sterilization process logs in an effort to ensure sterile process documentation are complete and accurate; maintain records of daily counts of non-barcoded processed items.
Perform other job related duties as assigned, including working in the dispensaries to distribute instrumentation.
Help with established protocols during the Covid 19 Pandemic to ensure the safety of the students, staff, faculty, and patients.
