University of Colorado Denver Expected Graduation: May 2026 B.A. in Mechanical Engineering, Minor in Electrical Engineering
• Dean’s List: Summer 2024
• GPA: 3.5
• Relevant Coursework:
• Numerical Methods(Python) • Circuit Analysis I/II • Reliability Engineering Technical Skills
Software: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Microsoft Office Suite Machining: CNC Lathe and Mill
Programming Languages: Python, C/C++(Arduino-Based) Projects
Mars Rover Solidworks, Python Spring 2024
• Apart of the Lynx Robotics Club Project. Coordinated with electrical engineers and software engineers to design a mars rover capable of travel across most terrain.
• Developed an support structures for UV sensors and general weight management using Solid work, improving mass efficiency by 12.
• Performed analysis on rover differentials and heat sinks to ensure turn functionality and minimize overheating. Electronic Music Box Solidworks, C++, Circuit Design Summer 2024
• Designed and developed a music box capable of playing music from a 32 gigabyte storage, MP3 DF player module, and arduino nano.
• Integrated a motor to imitate the ornate figures spinning on typical wooden music boxes.
• Designed the model of the box/buttons in Solidworks and circuit board layout from scratch with Pspice calculations. Model Air Motor Solidworks, Mill, Lathes Spring 2022
• Designed the model of an air engine motor given specific dimensions in Solidworks. All measurements were recorded at Denver Advanced Manufacturing Institute.
• Implemented various documents of models including an exploded view, a skematic with gdt analysis, and a functional model in motion.
• Took the dimensions of the CAD files to machine parts of the air motor. A lathe was used to create pistons and shafts while CnC milling was used for the rest.
Experience
Bowling Mechanic August 2024 - Present
Bowlero/Lucky Strike
• Responsible for troubleshooting technical operations of lanes. This includes String Pin/Floor Wax machine tuning, replacing faulty components, and general preventative maintenance.
• Maintaining upkeep of lanes; waxing lanes daily and general cleaning.
• Coordinating with operations managers to ensure safety and customer satisfaction while issues occur. Leadership
National Society of Black Engineers May 2024 – Present Programs Chair - University of Colorado Denver
• Managing chapter operations and planning NSBE events. This includes booking rooms, contacting employers, creating roles for current members, and establishing timelines throughout the year.
• Collaborating with the President and 7 officers on membership recruitment and retention strategies, organizing membership drives, and fostering community within the chapter.
• Facilitating outreach and partnership efforts with external organizations to expand the chapter’s impact and support its mission within and beyond the NSBE network.
