Truck Operator, Jack Cooper; Roanoke, IN — 2023-2024

I worked for Jack Cooper for a short amount of time due to being laid off for a month during December. I was only a temp for the company so I was not promised the same amount of hours as the other workers there. I was expected to know three different components that were in the job. I was able to experience working all three components and was an “on-call” employee. I worked all three shifts whenever they needed me too. Restoration, Spring Field Restoration; Hicksville, IN — 2020-2021 At Spring Field, I was expected to do demolition for older homes and then remodel said homes. This was more of a summer job for me as to why I only worked for a few short months. This was during the summer of my senior year of high school as to another reason I was not able to work there for much longer. Window Washing, Advanced Window Cleaning; Fort Wayne, IN — 2016-2019 For this job, I’d wash windows from around early morning to mid afternoons. I would have to carry a 25 pound bucket as well as a 40 pond ladder a majority of the day. This job was more of a summer/high school job. I really enjoyed spending each summer with them but it did not fit with my budget plans in the near future. Material Handler/Machine Operator, Press Seal Corporation; Fort Wayne, IN — 2021-2022 At Press Seal, I was expected to make products as well distribute them. I was in charge of making sure each order had the right amount of gaskets or else my work would have to be redone. In conclusion to finishing the assembly of the product, I would package each order.

Concrete/Gutter, Knot Just Decks; Fort Wayne, IN — 2023 I did not work at this job very long due to the management and inconsistency in job opportunities. I was expected to carry large quantities of concrete as well as gutter tools. I would help set up flagpoles some days as well. I handled sanding machines, epoxy and other concreting tools. Window Installation, Busheys; Fort Wayne, IN — 2024 I was an employee at Busheys for only five months due to management and lesser job opportunities. I was promised a raise after three months and it was never given, even after being reminded of it. My hours were cut drastically, while others were given more. New hires were hired on with a bigger pay raise than myself after my three month mark. I was expected to carry windows weighing around 60-70 pounds up ladders and to install them. I was also given the job to clean the owners homes if we were to make a mess. Ice Cream Maker, Dryers; Fort Wayne, IN — 2024-Present I was hired into Dryers shortly after leaving Busheys. I was hired onto work third shifts which included being twelve hours. I am still currently employed at Dryers but due to recent life changes, I need a job that I can work during the day. I love working the longer hours and do not mind the job.

SKILLS

I am a very hands on learner. I am also very quick with the information I retain. I love to do anything physical and can work for long periods of time. I am a very busy person and love doing anything to keep my body moving.
