Work Experience
Operations Supervisor
CLEAN EARTH PHILADELPHIA
June 2022 till Present
With the transition from laborer/operator into management my tasks are quite different. I have to be well versed in every aspect of my facilities day to day operations. The fact that I have operated virtually every single type of heavy machinery equipment in various phases of my career prior to my acquisition of my new found career path, needless to mention has been extremely essential.
We have a very good team, however notably small. Be that as it is, with the delegating of our daily duties, I find myself doing more.
Some days I may have to do what’s necessary for the day to progress efficiently, be it working in the Laboratory processing samples, or weighing inbound and outbound trucks in our Scale house. If a Loader operator isn’t in (PTO or Vacation) I may be tasked with loading outbound trucks. Usually I will have to screen several tons of dirt depending upon how much is scheduled for inbound. Also if our equipment has to be serviced or minor maintenance or repairs are required I do that as well. Loader blades are in need of being flipped over or replaced. The latter part of my day consists of filing daily logs, reports, and manifest data sending samples for more detailed analysis and subsequently approving appropriate shipments. Submit payroll, PTO approval monitoring team members have completed safety training exams, place orders for equipment parts office needs as required.
Crane Operator
EMR USA - Camden, NJ
April 2018 to June 2022
I operated various heavy machinery equipment for the duty of scrap metal recycling.
Crane Operator
TRENTON IRON & METAL - Trenton, NJ
December 2017 to April 2018
I operate various machinery and cranes such as magnet cranes, grapple cranes, front end loaders with
bucket or forks, for the propose of sorting, shredding, shearing, loading, and shipping of different types
of scrap metals. For example I use front end loaders with the forks to unload scrap automobiles from
flatbed tractor-trailers. So that they may be inspected and prepped for the shredder. I use the grapple
cranes to sometimes unload vehicles from flatbed trucks, and multi car trailers, to inspect and prep or
stock pile said vehicles for the shredder. I sometimes feed the shredder with those vehicles, I also use the
grapple crane to load or unload trailers of certain types of scrap metals and municipal waste. I use the
magnet cranes to load the shredded metal in trailers or sometimes the front end loaders with buckets
to load over seas containers.

Morris Iron & Steel.
Crane Operator
Morris Iron and Steel - Philadelphia, PA
January 2006 to July 2011
Initially I started out in the nonferrous department and the scale area as a labor weighing customers
nonferrous materials and storing them in the warehouse via forklift or bobcat. However during that time
A supervisor took a liking to me and asked if I wanted to learn how to operate the various cranes in the
yard. I said yes and in so I was allowed to train during my lunch. Eventually I was asked to load trucks
during my lunch. I quite frankly exceeded most expectations and thus was elevated to a crane operator of
thee yard. Throughout my years there I became quite proficient in the operation of all cranes, excavators,
front end loaders, dozers and portable shears within the company. My duties included however was never
limited to on any given day loading trailers with ferrous and nonferrous metals via magnet crane, grapple
crane, clamshell excavator, front end loader, bobcat or forklift. I set up the burners with materials to
be burnt, I loaded materials into the shear to be sheared or at times sheared materials myself with the
portable shear. Maintain the yard and it’s roads around various piles of certain materials so as tractor
trailers would not get flat tires. By using the bulldozer magnet and grapple cranes or clamshell excavator
to level certain areas of the yard or roads. Building them up or carving out ditches for flooding purposes,
whatever the circumstances called for at the time. I also loaded the baler, which was only loaded by one
other individual and myself at the time, seeing as you had to put in a certain mixture of materials to
form a solid bale with a certain weight, size, and density necessary( as the bales could be rejected by
the buyers) and they were a stickler for a certain amount of bales daily.
