Helps fill pipe systems with water or air to determine system leaks.
Assist in installation of high-pressure piping.
Working in high places and enclosed spaces, climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, lifting, and working in extreme temperatures.

This position was employed on a contractual basis and worked under the direct supervision of a Pipefitter.
It requires being able to work in factories, residential homes, commercial or industrial spaces and are often on call for emergencies. The pipefitter helper must be able to comprehend project plans and specifications, blueprints.

Helpers have to load, transport, and unload materials and tools necessary for a given project
and bring them to the Pipefitter. They prepare the work area with any required equipment as well.
Pipefitter Helpers maintain clean work environments and also clean up after installation when materials and tools are left behind.
In addition to deaning, Pipefitter Helpers ensure that projects are completed according to safety standards in other ways, by identifying safety hazards and following all client policies and local and federal regulations..
