3. “The Music Composition Tool, MCT” by Roderick D. Harris, Sr. – A notated library of over 12,000 chords that can be used by Composers, Arrangers and Musicians. This library contains over 300 pages of printed music. The technology that HMCT is based upon, is patent-pending while funding is being sought to develop a desktop software application. 4. “Church Musicians Library, CML Series” – A series of e-Books, MIDI, and Audio files that gives church musicians an edge on playing contemporary music, hymns, and even classical hymns and anthems. All the
“fat” chords and progressions that are heard by the best contemporary musicians are covered in this multi-part Series. Volume 1 is covering the fundamental progressions, such as the ii-V-I progression. Volume 1 (76 pages) contains 58 exercises. Volume 2 (96 pages) covers ten hymns and praise songs that are well-known. Volume 2 uses the fundamental chords and progressions in Volume 1 to enhance and “modernize” the hymns and praise tunes. Volume 3 (122 pages) contains ten more hymns and praise tunes and shows the user how to play them in a modern, contemporary way.
