Work Experience
Assembly Technician
Bertec-Columbus, OH
November 2023 to September 2024
I worked as an Assembly Technician there and I gained more experience working with precision instruments. I assembled $160,000 in machinery and components and packed the units for shipping. Mattress Assembler
The Original Mattress Factory-Columbus, OH
November 2022 to September 2023
In my time at the Original Mattress Factory, I was tasked with assembling mattresses and inspecting the product for defects. I trained my eye for detail and very quickly picked up the building process. I was very proud of the fact that my supervisor, Micah Spencer, commended me for my build quality and my chipper attitude. I settled in quite well and made great friends of my coworkers. Cabinet Maker Apprentice
Buckeye Custom Cabinets and Closets LLC-Columbus, OH August 2022 to October 2022
During my time at Buckeye Custom Cabinets and Closets, I was an assembly apprentice and worked as a cabinet installer and assembler. The training I received with handheld and stationary power tools will always be appreciated. As a result, I learned quickly to take pride in the quality and functionality of the finished product. I am endlessly grateful for the experience and the kindness and patience my co- workers showed me.
Custodian/Maintenance
Walmart-Dublin, OH
July 2020 to December 2020
After July I transferred laterally to a Custodial position because I felt that this position would be better for a detail-oriented mind like mine. I also felt that this would be the best way to help keep things clean and sanitized during Covid-19 and the lockdown When I joined the custodial staff, I was extremely lucky to have an experienced colleague that helped me to learn what to do in this position. He taught me how to run large machinery to clean the floors. He helped me to work with the team. On days when he wasn't there, I learned to lead the team and make decisions on how to tackle daily tasks reliably and efficiently. Cap Team 2 Associate
Walmart-Dublin, OH
November 2019 to July 2020
This was a physically challenging starting job that was never intended to be my career. I still gave my all and wanted to do my best in this position. My responsibilities in this position ranged from unloading up to 5000 pieces of freight a day from the trucks, to straightening and organizing the product on the shelf. I found the organization of products to be where I was most skilled. Finding where things go and placing them correctly is something I have great proficiency with. Education
