Design
+ Designed, prototyped, implemented and balanced core gameplay loops, sub-loops, combat mechanics, quest systems and narrative progression for over 20 games and demos as well as their design documentation.
+ Designed and prototyped unique classes, characters, and ability systems like the Disco themed RPG classes, Howzer the League of Legends character concept, and a mouse drawn battle arena.
+ Rapidly produced prototypes, sketches, storyboards, flowcharts, and wireframes using paper, concept sketches, draw.io, and Miro.
+ Balanced enemy and player abilities using statistics and ensuring intended second-to-second gameplay as well as creating and using spreadsheets.
+ Created and fine tuned combat encounters for both PvE and PvP environments for both the digital and analog playground. Implementation
+ Proficient in Unity, which is used for the majority of projects, with working knowledge of Ue4, and Python, creating gameplay prototypes, visual effect shaders, and level design.
+ Set up and manage art pipelines, producing assets and implementing them onto their final fidelity.
+ Quickly developed and iterated prototypes to demonstrate and refine game mechanics combining feedback from playtests including 1 week turn arounds. Leadership and Collaboration
+ Led cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and fostering collaboration between design, art, and development.
+ Showcased projects at industry events like GDC, engaging with players, judges, and developers to gather feedback.
+ Trained and onboarded new team members, sharing best practices in game design and workflow integration.
+ Managed and conducted playtests between players and the design team refine and balance gameplay for better player experiences. Relevant Experience

+ Participated in a state funded program, Level Up State over 2 summers, where each summer we paid $6.000 to develop 6 game concepts.
+ Published music speedrunning game Tempo on Steam as the lead designer focusing on gameplay loops and supplementary features like achievements and rewards.
