• Responsible for overall management of flight department inclusive oversight of crew, schedule, and maintenance as well as unmatched, personalized, service for each user.

• Ongoing operational analyses such as evaluation of external aircraft management company versus in-house flight department, inclusive of cost, staffing, tax considerations, privacy, and insurance as well as monitoring aircraft market for purchase versus supplemental lift options and modernization of aircraft equipment.

• High level of coordination with security team to mitigate risk and ensure each trip is evaluated and supported with crew and passenger safety at forefront.

• Drive continuous improvement by documenting policies and procedures, seeking cost saving opportunities and researching software solutions for a comprehensive travel program, and coordination.

• Designed personal use programs and policies as well as calculated timeshare payments and imputed income, monitored flight usage, analyzed flight trends, and prepare management reports.

• Prepared financial reports and analyses, including statement of cash flows, budget versus actual, capital spending along with overlaying financial and flight metrics.

• Business partner to Chief Pilot to facilitate seamless day to day operation, resource allocation and management of multiple complex projects, actively participating in development and execution of strategic plans and workflow management, identifying and mitigating risks, implementing process improvement initiatives as well as developing strategies to support project success.

• Drive continuous improvement via industry benchmarking and tactical planning, including regulatory implications and changes, compensation trends, international operations, sustainable aviation fuel, and various ownership and operating models.

• Developed strategies to meet corporate needs, maximizing cash and tax benefits by applying relevant FAA and IRS considerations, including FAA Part 91 and 135 regulations, fringe benefit and entertainment use rules, gift tax implications, and carriage of elected officials requirements. 1 of 2
