Recreational camp trainee – Lonnie Young Recreation Center 2018 – Summer
Worked with the younger age children from first grade to 6th grade. Assisting with breakfast and lunch. Learning how to sign children into their camp activity location and learn the proper procedure for children being signed out to the responsible person for dismissal pick up.
Camp Leader - Lonnie Young Recreation Center 2019 to 2021-Summer
Assisted with all sports games, basketball, soccer, kickball, and flag football in the sports camp. Assist with dance lessons for those male and females in dance camp. For the summer. prepped all breakfast and lunch meals. Assisted and help direct the dismissal at the end of the camp day.
Certified Lifeguard Lonnie Young Recreation Center 2022 t0 2023– Summer
Supervised swimmers, spotting hazards and preventing accidents. Giving advice on water safety. Water rescue. First aid and CPR. Teach the younger children how to swim.
Internship – Under the instructions of Thiniyi Terell at Vita Saana Martial Arts School as well as at Harambee Institute Science and Technology Charter School. Fall -2023
