Career Objective:

I am seeking a job in the field of Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Solar Energy and Energy Harvesting. My desire is to land a job in one of these areas. Education:

• Ph.D. Electrical and Computer Engineering Boise State University, ID. January 2024 - Present Dissertation: “Hybrid Solar Cell and Nanoantenna System for Energy Harvesting.”

• M.Sc. Electrical and Computer Engineering Boise State University, ID. Jan. 2021 – Dec. 2023 Thesis: “Investigating combined Extreme Weather Effects on Solar Module through Hardware and Simulink Performance Evaluation.”

• M.Sc. Mathematics California State University, San Bernardino, CA. March 2014 - March 2016 Thesis: “Geodesics in Lorentzian Manifolds.”

Experience:

• Adjunct Professor of Engineering Mathematics and Busineess Learnet Academy, CA. 09/2024 – Present

• Adjunct Professor of Engineering Mathematics Boise State University, ID. 08/2021 – Present

• Adjunct Professor of Engineering Mathematics Mesa College, CA. 12/2016 – 12/2020

• Adjunct Professor of Engineering Mathematics Valley College, CA. 12/2016 – 12/2018 Responsibility: Teaching, Advising, Research, and Service. Highlighted Achievements:

• Investigated combined extreme weather effects on solar modules through hardware Simulink performance evaluation. Constructed a chamber inside the research lab to mimic the different environmental (heat, humidity, smoke) effects on solar cells. Developed an Arduino program and used sensors to connect the circuit and measured the important parameters. Developed a new MATLAB function to simulate this experiment.

• Simplified a complicated SoC displayer by designing a finite state machine (FSM) code with 2 clocks to display the different speeds between charging and discharging by using FPGA.

• Designed an electromagnetic antenna array by developing a MATLAB code to design the array and test its parameters.

• By using ColCale, I developed a Quint-AES (5-AES) crypto system that is more secure than the advanced encryption standard AES crypto system. The system can encrypt and decrypt messages safely without breaking unless a key code is used.

• Designed a synchronous motor with stability. Plotted the dynamic response for rotating time and speed to sudden shaft loads of power by integrating a function in MATLAB and designing a Simulink system to solve this dynamic response.

• Solved 35 critical cases out of 36 in a cybersecurity project to perform the contingencies P1 – P7 as defined by TPL-001-05 standard by using Power World software.

• Designed a DC-DC Boost Regulator by using LTspice and MATLAB by designing a switch-mode power supply (SMPS) with known input voltage, output voltage and range power.

• Designed and analyzed a Five-Bus Power System using PowerWorld software, was able to add another transmission line between bus 1 and 5 instead of adding a capacitor bank at each bus. This resulted in cost reduction and increased safety.

• Used Fourier series to analyze and fix the waveform during the design of a Low-Pass Filter for a Square- Wave Inverter. This was done using LTspice software. Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Office Programs, LTspice, PowerWorld, Verilog FPGA, MATLAB & Simulink, and ColCale.

• Oscilloscopes, multi-meters, test/analyze radio frequency, and graph results. Personal:

• US Citizen

• Languages: English, Arabic.

• Hobbies: Reading, Swimming, Running, Soccer, Volleyball, Volunteering to help others, woodwork, handyman work around the house.
