Electrical Field/Design Engineer Fluor Canada (By Project) 05/2015 – 02/2022 Field Engineer LNG Canada Project 07/2020 – 02/2022 Acted as deputy Lead Electrical Field Engineer for LNG Canada Prime Contractor JFJV, developing Site Field Engineering policies and procedures to comply with Prime Contract and EGBC, i.e. EGBC Direct Supervision Plan, EGBC Document Field Review Procedure and Site Redline Management System. Responsible for the field engineering support to facilitate the completion of underground electrical construction by resolving construction-related issues through the contractor Request for Information system, field material requisitions and project change management system. Successfully fulfilling prime contract obligation to resolve all RFIs within 48 hours while responding to 5 - 10 RFIs per day.

Responsible for field verification of main scope underground electrical construction compliance with local codes and engineered design drawings. Resolved deficiencies in design or construction through field redesign and recalculation, while maintaining a master redline record of all changes approved in the field on equipment layouts, cable schedules and panel schedules, etc.

Responsible for the design and procurement of the 25kV site construction power system along with the maintenance support of said system creating, reviewing, and approving all associated design deliverables including but not limited to load calculations, equipment layouts, cable schedules, panel schedules, overhead line design, underground section drawings and procurement BOMs/RFQs.

Field Engineer Darlington Nuclear Generating Station Project 05/2019 – 02/2020 Responsible for the field engineering support to facilitate the completion of all electrical construction by resolving construction-related issues through the contractor Request for Information system, field material requisitions and collaboration with the project design firm and client stakeholders. Managed along with the site electrical superintendent the installation of over 45000+ ft of power, control, optical fiber, and instrumentation cable, along with the replacement of 100+ pieces of substation equipment. Ensured equipment was installed and integrated in time for customer commissioning despite having been brought on to the project to help assist in recovering a 6 month slip in schedule. Major equipment included the main 5MW Emergency Power Generator, the substation supply Switchgears, Substation transformers, Substation Motor control centers and Generator control VFDs. Electrical Design / Field Engineer Irving Oil Refinery (IOR) Project Solutions 08/2017 – 05/2019 Responsible for the electrical scope of numerous refinery capital and maintenance projects from project conception to commissioning.

Responsible Engineer and focal point of refinery variable frequency drive (VFD) program. Preparing the project estimate, design deliverables, equipment procurement packages, and contractor work scopes to complete the upgrade, replacement, and new installation of over 15 VFDs on site c/w MCC supply sections, power filters and protection and control relays. Extensively involved in drive procurement installation, drive programming and commissioning and ongoing maintenance/troubleshooting.

Responsible Engineer and focal point responsible for the update and replacement of four 5+ MVA Power Distribution Transformers, preparing the project estimate, design deliverables, equipment procurement packages, and contractor work scopes as well as overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of the transformers. Focal point for the electrical design and procurement of the power, lighting and homerun cable packages in the rebuild of two process plants involved in a major fire and explosion incident. Worked closely with the mechanical and controls departments to seize opportunities to electrify mechanical equipment during the re-build. This led to the completion of all design deliverables of the new and improved plants within three months of the incident. Served as an Electrical Construction Coordinator on the IOR 2018 Turnaround Management Team. Responsible for the performance of the nightshift electrical contractor during the shutdown maintenance of five process plants. Close collaboration with the contractor led to the completion of all electrical work on time for planned plant startup dates. Electrical Field Engineer Suncor East Tank Farm Development Project 12/2016 – 08/2017 Responsible for the field engineering and construction coordination support to facilitate the completion of all electrical construction and commissioning activities by resolving construction-related issues through a contractor Request for Information system, field material requisitions and collaboration with client stakeholders. Responsible for evaluating quality and completion of over 50 systems in client construction completion walks as the lead electrical design engineering representative, documenting all deviations from the original design. Project Controls Technician Fort Hills Project – Module Fabrication Yards 05/2016 – 12/2016 Led the in-field electrical quantity surveying effort for the fabrication of over 100 process plant modules across three module yards to assess and verify material consumption and man-hour quantities reported by fabrication yard contractors. Evaluated the contractor cost and material reports for compliance with project design documents, procedures, and prime contract terms and actively sought resolution of discrepancies which lead to savings on the project of +$2 MM. Trained team members from other engineering disciplines, enabling them to support the quantity surveying of electrical man-hours and materials to meet an aggressive project schedule. Electrical Design Engineering Specialist Suncor East Tank Farm Development Project 05/2015 – 05/2016 Responsible for the design and procurement of the small power and lighting systems of the entire TIC

+$500 MM process plant. Performed electrical calculations such as load distribution, relay coordination, voltage drop, cable de-rating, and area lighting calculations to develop quality electrical design documents, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams on schedule with high quality.
