Skills & Abilities

I have been working in the medical records field for over twenty-five years and have done every type of job in the field. This includes, data entering for resident charts, filing, keeping up charts on the units, charting, putting in new residents and setting up new orders and assessments for the nursing staff. I have worked with several different computer order systems and have been using Point Click Care since 2012. I am also responsible for gathering and doing the daily census, send regular census reports to corporate, transmit MDS’, attend stand up and Medicare meetings, I am involved with our triple check process and I do requests for information. I have taken care of our clinics which includes the hygienist, dentist, eye doctor and podiatrist. I have also done some admissions, billing office, and Social Service Assistant (SSA). I have also worked in customer service in retail, restaurants, and taught 5th grade.

I began as a receptionist, helped with billing and the became an SSA in Social Services. My job was eliminated where I was and I am currently at another of the company’s buildings as a receptionist.

I began working at Stafford as a clerk and then became the assistant and the manager.
