Work Experience

Senior Network Administrator

I have left Pixxel and am looking for more consulting work or perhaps full time work.

Currently I have concentrated on networking and cybersecurity, but I also have lots of skills with network and infrastructure design

2016-2024

· Primary network and cybersecurity consultant for Pixxel Space technologies. I designed their international network that communicates with India and gathers data, telemetry and commands from a network of hyperspectral satellites. Purchased and configured Ubuntu and Windows servers. Also worked on NIST compliance.

· Worked as an independent consultant, designing, installing, troubleshooting, and configuring network equipment. In this role I have done work for Chase Bank, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Qatar Airlines, and Green Lots. I have security clearance to work alone in Chase data centers and banks as well as other secure areas.

Also responsible for firewalls, switches, wifi systems (30+), physical servers and networking equipment. As well as Kaspersky administrator for 500 workstations. Used Kaspersky to deliver Windows updates as well as installing new software.

Optimized performance for VOIP traffic using our DSL/VPN network of StoneSoft firewalls as we moved from Cisco/T1 VOIP to cloud based Ring Central to reduce costs. Trouble shot the installation.
