oForty years experience in Foundry Maintenance; Effective at troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics equipment; Experience with belts, shaker conveyors, mullor furnaces, wheelabrators, grinders, overhead cranes, and core machines.
oTwenty years experience on Hunters 10s, 20s, and 30s molding machines
oTen years experience on Disas Mark5 and Mark1 molding machines
oExperience in high pressure die cast, cubing lines, and Hi-tek heat treating furnaces
oCarpentry and plumbing
oRead blue prints hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to trouble-shoot machines
oInjection molding
oExtensive experience with Robotics including: Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, and Comau.
oExperience with Allen Bradley PLC’s such as Control Logix and SLC 500 Series.
oMinor electrical work with power off and confined to disconnecting, removing, reinstalling, and reconnecting components necessary for the completion of their mechanical work. Install to operational status new or relocated physical facilities when needed.
oDiagnose machine difficulties and make repairs for adjustments as required.
oLubricate and/or change lubricant, coolants, solvents, and filters in machines as required.
oArc, Tig, and Mig welding
oAcetylene, plasma, and arc-air gouge cutting
oMinor pipe fittings
oStructural, sheet metal, concrete masonry, and carpentry work
oExperience with drill press, bandsaw, arbor press, various gauges, levels, and other measuring instruments using drawings, layouts, or sketches.
oPlan and layout work and use judgment in making installations to conform to local codes and plant requirements. Work from general assignment and proceed with minimum supervision.
