PROJECT WORK
Project: Analysis of Friction Factor Using Ring Compression Test under Different Lubricant Conditions.
DESCRIPTION: This work deals with an experimental and analytical determination of friction factor 'm' for Solid Aluminium Cylinders under different lubricating conditions. A standard of rings of ratio 6:3:2 produced under a constant compacting pressure of 240.7 (MPa) were tested. The Lubricants that were used are namely Zinc stearate, MoS2, Graphite and dry condition.
