SUMMARY OF OVERALL JOB ASSIGNMENT

• Define and support implementation of short, medium, and long-term Environmental Health & Safety actions.

• Enhance the performance and development of EH&S culture within the Country Project Director through the promotion and management of the site and EH&S improvement plan.

• Ensure compliance and adherence to HSMS and applicable EHS local laws.

• Provide expert advice on related environmental, health & safety issues to ensure cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

• Coach, guide, and challenge the management team/Ex Com EH&S leadership approach.

• Knowledgeable for Integrated Management System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015. MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leadership

• Assist management to visibly demonstrate their commitment and leadership through their activities.

• Actively involved to ensure Environmental Health and Safety performance is embedded in performance management process as for career progression.

• In line with the Country business strategies, assist the Corporate & Country Project Director to define H&S strategy and priorities by applying the Risk Based Approach & System including the Business Contingency Plan.

• Influence management to set systematic dynamics to engage all employees in Health & Safety improvement efforts.

• Advise individuals to stop a task which is deemed unsafe and take the necessary means to correct the situation. 2. Compliance

• Ensure EH&S Standards and Advisories, Core Process Risks, and any potential hazards (ex. Physical, Mental Health, Biological, which are not covered by a standard) are being addressed properly.

• Take necessary measures to ensure risk assessments are carried out systematically by competent people, addresses condition, task, and learning.

• Contribute to developing systems and resources to ensure that in emergency events our people, the public, the environment, our assets and our reputation are protected from harm.

• Provide feedback for any change management which could associate design and procurement (ex. technical modification, change of organization EH&S reference, new job position, introduction of innovation & OTHERS.)

• Record accidents & incidents on Group Risk Management database at required timescale.

• Involved in investigations, root cause analysis and preventive action including follow up. This includes the use of the EH&S Operational Matrix to ensure the best available preventive action is chosen. 3. Competency & Communication

• Ensure EH&S competency is part of job profiles and is assessed during the recruitment process.

• Develop and update professional induction, orientation and qualification programs for hazards Identification and risk management based on legal and group requirements for all stakeholders.

• Ensure employees, managers and contractors are competent to work safely and manage Environmental Health and Safety in their area.

• Contribute to setting effective communication process to engage workforce and external bodies (when required) and the key subjects covered include Policy & Rules, Standards & Advisories, performance, progress towards goals, achievements, incidents, procedures, good & effective practices, Serious Event Reviews and Key Learning. 4. Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement necessary systems for creating, distributing, and controlling documents and records prepared in support of Health and Safety requirements.

• Ensure documents and records management systems comply with regulatory requirements on data protection, medical confidentiality, and document retention.

• Manage H&S inspections and internal HSMS audits considering line management involvement.

• Ensure all preventive action plans are implemented timely and effectively. PERFORMANCE CRITERIA (quantitative and qualitative)

• Demonstrable advancement of the Country EH&S improvement plans.

• Actions and progress follow-up.

• A continuous improvement in culture driving EH&S performance improvement. MINIMUM COMPETENCIES PROFILE

Professional Competency

• 24 years’ experience in H & S function in industry or Line Management in a senior position in the organization.

• Experience for Integrated Management System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015.

• Familiar with JICA implementation/System.

Behavioral competencies:

• Coaching/Counseling, challenge, communication, influencing, driving change, team facilitation, team building networks. Technical Competencies:

• Knowledge/experience of operations on Offshore & On Shore Drilling, Oil & Gas industry, Cement, Shipyard, Marine, Railways, Heavy Construction, Horizontal and Vertical activities.

• Knowledge of JICA standards project requirements.

• Environmental Health & Safety technical experience
