Skills

Project management: Gant chart development and maintenance to track time critical processes and manufacturing schedules. I have experience in many process improvement techniques including Statistical Process Analysis and Six Sigma process evaluation.

CAD drafting, SolidWorks and Catia with over 1000 hours of experience in both platforms including: Solid modeling of complex parts and assemblies, including kinematics, drawing creation and drawing check and review. I have worked with both employer and supplier engineering departments to create electro-mechanical assembly designs and Casting and Forging Designs

Quality control Background : Manufacturing Specific ANSI GDT training and Mechanical Drawing interpretation, Surface plate experience including Casting and Forging layout. Zeiss CMM inspection experience. I have worked with all current ASME 14.5 and 14.8 drawing and design standards. And have worked with the AS9102B First Article inspection format.

Microsoft office applications including advanced EXCEL spreadsheet creation using pivot tables and engineering and mathematical formulas. I am familiar with Six Sigma in Microsoft Excel and can create analytical charts without the resort to ancillary statistical software.

General Machinist with experience in both manual and NC equipment in production and job shop environments.

Training program implementation while working as a Manufacturing engineer at Parker Hannifin: Implemented training programs for Supplier Quality teams and developed new certified suppliers and outside processing facilities to support Parker procurement strategy.

Project Management

Supervised project production efforts to ensure projects were completed to company standards, on time and within budget constraints.

Manufacturing Engineer

Created manufacturing planning and shop travelers for a variety of machined parts across multiple work centers including the application of engineered coatings and all NDT process. Designed manufacturing holding fixtures and created tool shop drawings used in their fabrication. Attended many supplementary courses in GD&T provided by ASME instructors.

Battalion Safety Officer

( NMCB 17 USN ) US Navy Civil Engineering Corps. Managed a battalion safety office which trained and supplied a 600 man overseas Engineering command for deployment is support of advanced base and facilities construction. I received the U.S Navy’s training NEC after completing the Civil Engineering Corps’ course work in Mishap Reporting, Barrier analysis and OSHA heavy industry and construction safety school. I received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal on four occasions, once for service as a supply convoy commander in the Iraq war.

Engineering Coordinator/ Sales

While employed at Brenk I facilitated the in load of $ 3,000,000 annually of machined parts procurement. I created CAD models from extant customer drawings, submitted design for ease of manufacture proposals and developed alternate materials and process for cost saving opportunities. I performed source inspection and sub-tier supplier evaluations, managed an extensive travel budget and created a Six Sigma and SPC regimen for continuous improvement and process evaluation still in use.

Machined Parts Inspector

Using Surface plates, CMMs and a variety of specialty gages I performed First Article and in- process inspection on a variety of complex machined parts and assemblies. I created First Article documentation to the AS9102 ballooned drawing Aerospace Standard.
