Summary

After leaving the University of Maryland(BS-School of Engineering). I held a brief 9 month duty at the NSA as an analyst, until I joined the EPA as a contracting officer trainee eventually becoming a Warranted Contracting officer for the Northeast region.

I was then offered a ground floor opportunity to join a new Federal systems integration company as a Contracts administrator and being less than 2 year post college. While there I negotiated many Multi hundred million dollar contracts and grants with Federal, State, and local Government entities for all forms of ADP & IT products and services.

I soon become a known entity in the Washington DC area for being able to work with the different Government Agencies and was approached by several minority-owned firms to join their staff. After consideration, I chose GMR.

While At GMR, I assisted in helping the company to grow from annual revenues of $4 Million to over $90 Million winning Contracts including ones with the US Navy, USMC, State of Virginia, NASA- Langley Research Center, National Science Foundation, GSA, etc.

I then branched out on my own forming Karus Consulting and Jakamo, Inc. both Small Woman-owned Corporations with my then current wives and finally Government Technology Brokers, Inc., a Small Business.

All providing proposal & grant response management and capture services in accordance with recognized Shipley Guidelines

In 2013 I suffered a sports injury that required several years of Physical therapy to regain partial daily function

Then in 2020, I relocated to Palm Bay, Florida to continue my recovery.
