North American Lighting (travel position)-Paris, IL March 2023 to February 2024
At NAL I had one of the most important roles in the factory because the entire process started with us. In my role I would operate the IMM (injection mold machine) which molded the plastic, check it, cut & clean as needed then we would take it to the metallizing station where I would carefully place each part into the machine. Once completed I would check to make sure there’s no scratches, scuffs, haze, dents etc… once I gave the okay. then I would send the parts to assembly so they could start there process. (I had to master over 30 different parts & 12 different stations knowing the ins & outs of the entire process). I also learned how to operate this robotic machine that tested all the headlights at the end of the process. Assembly, Processing and quality
