Constantly moving, picking product (Preferably pristine) and assorting in neat tight pallets in a timely manner. I like to think of it like Tetris, but with bigger equipment. I recently got a promotion where I do the same thing, but in a freezer (Constant 0 F temp). Machine specialist/Forklift Operator
Airlite Plastics Co. - Omaha, NE
June 2015 to October 2018
All promotions were applied for. I was given a mechanical aptitude test and past with a high grade and got the position a few months after I was rehired. Held this position for 3 years. I have level 5/6 experience, which is a representation of what I have learned and what I can do. I was full of energy and very hardworking. Always eager to learn. Never stood in one place for more than 30 minutes (Lunch). Supervisors use to throw me around from area to area and sometimes have higher level operators ask me for my opinion or answers for some issues they could not resolve. I have worked on almost every machine in the plant both as a packer and operator. Forklift license was issued during training for Pallet Jack, Fork Truck and Narrow Aisle Fork Trucks.
Print Operator C - A
Airlite Plastics Co. - Omaha, NE
April 2013 to June 2015
I held this position a couple of times. I got a promotion about 2 or 3 months in to a print packer/operator where I handled feeding product and packing printed product doing the necessary inspections and audits. Sadly, due to issues in the workplace, I quit while training for a Level B position. I was rehired in early 2015. My work place has levels to their packers. Level C was just a packer trained to look for misprints and wet ink while packing. Level B helped more with job changes, preparations, and adjusting plates to align well enough for the Level A to run and make minor adjustments. Level A does the minor adjustments to color and plates to get and exact depiction of the lamination. Also, doing size changes for bigger or smaller products to be fed through. I held all 3 including IML packer training which falls under a Level C. Production Packer
Airlite Plastics Co. - Omaha, NE
January 2013 to April 2013
Simple position of packing product with constant inspection both prior to loading box and after box is filled. Inspections are audited and any findings must be reported to operators, supervisors, or QA. I quickly picked up the work (I was 18 at the time). I became reliable and quick with my work helping others or working on multiple machines at a time. It was fun while I was doing it. Education
