In my current role, I primarily schedule and perform annual recertification and interim certifications for two Section 8 properties with precision and accuracy. I conduct applicant and resident interviews, gathering all relevant income and demographic data to timely and thoroughly complete HUD income certifications. I complete the process from beginning to end, from generating renewal notices beginning 120 days from the effective date, through the compliance process to signing the income certification documents (HUD 50059 & Tenant Income Certification Forms (TIC)). In my role as the Assistant Property Manager, I was responsible for oversite of the maintenance program, including scheduling internal work, managing maintenance related expenses and scheduling/coordination of outside work performed by various vendors. Additionally, I was responsible for the timely collection of rent and other monies on site, handling daily deposits, record keeping, keying in of rent payments, late fees and processing of all accounts payable related matters.
