EXPERIENCE
Zelo, Remote, March 2020 - July 2024
As a software engineer, and for the past year as CTO, established Zelo’s technology stack and business processes in the areas of software development, quality assurance and DevOps. Partnered closely with Zelo’s founders in Norway to bring IT in-house after being outsourced to a consulting firm that was having problems meeting their deliverables. Provided the initiative, technical direction, and system architecture necessary to bring a stable and capable SaaS application to Zelo’s customers (typically HR departments) enabling them to create and send newsletters and
compliance course content to their employees over multiple channels (Email / SMS / Slack / Teams), and to provide reports and statistics on employee engagement. The system not only distributed content, but also distributed spikes in workload over time and exhibited a resilience in the face of the unexpected to bend, but not break or suffer data loss.
