I hereby submit my application for the above-mentioned position. I am Ugandan aged 43 years, I hold a valid Driving license No 12328483 with classes B, D1 and C, a Defensive Driving certificate of UCTU, Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education and Uganda Ordinary Certificates of Education, tested and approved to drive Non-Government Organization and Government vehicles by Ministry of Works and transport. Currently, I work with Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries under National Oil Palm Project-NOPP as a temporary Driver I have over 20 years working experience as a professional driver (Accident free) in an international and Local Non-Government organizations and my day to day work includes but not limited to ensuring that the organization vehicle kept clean and in good mechanical condition, repairs minor mechanical problems, provide transportation of authorized staff, keep accurate records, compile monthly reports on fuel usage and ensure timely service and repairs. Performs daily vehicle inspections, fill, ensuring that the assigned vehicle is fueled at all times, it has the correct level of lubricants and ensure that the tyres have the recommended pressure levels.
I perform office duties like typing and printing, filing, scanning office documents, archiving documents, operating switch board participate in procurement process of item related to job as a technical person and photocopying.
