Working closely with the RN in triage to determine the level of care a patient may require. Fully educated on signs of STROKE and HEART ATTACK, as this requires an immediate EKG. As a Lab registrar I registered all lab specimens that come in this includes blood, urine and body tissue for lab processors, Histology, Microbiology, and Cytology department. This position required proofreading patient information and insurance verification before the doctor can deliver diagnoses. It is imperative that the collection of patient information is correct and meets all requirements of the three standards of patient identification.
